Ironing is useful — but not always convenient. Whether you’re traveling, rushing out the door, or simply don’t own an iron, you can still remove wrinkles from T-shirts, hoodies, and sweaters quickly. Here are 10 wrinkle-removal hacks that actually work.

1. Use a Steamer (Fastest & Safest)
Steam relaxes fabric fibers without burning them. Hang your shirt, move the steamer from top to bottom, and smooth with your hand.
2. The Hot Shower Trick
Hang your clothes in the bathroom while taking a hot shower. The steam softens wrinkles in 10–15 minutes.
3. Dryer + Ice Cubes Method
- Toss wrinkled clothes into the dryer.
- Add 1–2 ice cubes.
- Run on medium heat for 10 minutes.
The steam created by melting ice removes wrinkles almost instantly.
4. Spray Bottle + Water
Mist the fabric lightly with water and stretch it smooth by hand. Air-dry naturally.
5. Vinegar Wrinkle-Release Spray
Mix:
- 1 part vinegar
- 3 parts water
Spray on your shirt and gently tug the fabric to smooth it out.
6. Hair Dryer
Blow warm air onto wrinkled areas at a distance of 20–30 cm. Smooth with your hand.
7. Towel Roll Method (Best for Sweaters)
- Lay sweater flat.
- Place a damp towel on top.
- Roll tightly and press gently.
8. Use a Flat Surface + Heavy Book
Flatten minor wrinkles by placing a clean heavy book on top. Works well for collars and hems.
9. Hang Clothes Immediately After Washing
This reduces wrinkles naturally and prevents deep creases.
10. Dryer Balls
Add wool dryer balls to your dryer cycle to reduce wrinkles, static, and clumping.
