Sabrina Carpenter turned her Los Angeles stop on the Short n’ Sweet Tour into a star-studded spectacle on Monday night — and this time, her playful onstage “arrest” tradition featured Hollywood royalty: sisters Elle and Dakota Fanning.

A Double ‘Arrest’: Sabrina Spots the Fanning Sisters in the Crowd

During her second of six shows at Crypto.com Arena, Carpenter noticed Elle and Dakota in the audience and immediately brought them into her comedy bit. In fan-recorded clips, the pop star asked for their names before joking:

“It’s like, one of you is cute… but two though? Damn!”

The line referenced her viral “Juno” lyric — “One of me is cute, but two though?” — sending fans into a frenzy.

Blushing and smiling, the Fanning sisters played along as Carpenter handed them fluffy pink handcuffs, officially “charging” them with the “crime” of being too hot.
This has become one of the most talked-about running gags of Carpenter’s tour.

Past celebrity ‘perps’ include:

  • Millie Bobby Brown
  • Anne Hathaway
  • Gigi Hadid
  • TWICE
  • Several other high-profile stars

The End of an Era: ‘Short n’ Sweet’ Tour Finale Approaches

Carpenter’s Los Angeles run marks the final stretch of her global tour, which began in September 2024 following the release of her Billboard 200 No.1 album, Short n’ Sweet.

Over the last year, the singer has:
✔ Released a full additional album, Man’s Best Friend

✔ Sparked multiple viral moments from her “arrest” bit
✔ Sold out arenas across North America, Europe, and Asia

Her final show will take place on Nov. 23, closing out more than a year on the road.

What’s Next for Sabrina Carpenter in 2026? A Huge Year Ahead

Once the tour wraps, Carpenter reportedly shifts directly into preparation for her Coachella 2026 headlining set, where she will share the bill with Justin Bieber and Karol G — making her one of the youngest headliners in the festival’s history.

But that’s not all.

Carpenter is also set to begin production on a long-delayed Alice in Wonderland remake, a major studio project in which she will star and also serve as executive producer. Early reports suggest the film could take a darker, more stylized direction compared to traditional adaptations.

2026 is shaping up to be Sabrina Carpenter’s biggest year yet — musically, visually, and cinematically.
